Photo-Dialogue and visual facilitation at the same time!
Last week I photographed the Global Mobility Network when they met at One Alfred Place. Also working at the meeting was Tim Casswell of Creative Connection who quietly beavered away at a set of images to capture the content of the GMN conversation.
I've worked with several visual facilitators who can picture the minutes of a meeting but Tim is different; not only does he record the day, he also brings a sharp intellectual analysis and clear contribution to the conversation. As the meeting drew to a close, participants began to reflect on what they would take away and Tim started to talk us through his work and what he had 'seen'.
He added his view of the day, pointed out some of the incoherencies in the flow of thinking, offered his own reflections, generated more ideas and provoked new questions. I really appreciated his dialogic style; gentle, humble, leaving space and yet right on the money...
This is my fave photo of him: a little softer than the standard 'snap'.
Tim Casswell: artist/consultant/rare breed.
Some more GMN images to follow on Photo-Dialogue as soon as we clear it with the group....
